Can't upload art anymore...

I hate Deviantart for the fact that they don't take dial-up internet into consideration. They make all these flash uploaders that us dialup users can't use!! So I can no longer upload art to DA. I managed to upload one more picture but now it's impossible - the image loader keeps cancelling. It's been happening for the past few weeks and I haven't been able to upload any art.

So, although I'll keep taking commissions from here, I need somewhere to upload my art until I get faster internet, which won't be for at least another 6 months. Does anybody know of any good, similar sites that may be a little more user-friendly and not swarming with art thiefs? (that's probably too much to ask lol).

I have a FurAffinity site for my furry/anthro art, but need somewhere for my fantasy and equine art, and although I'm in the middle of making a personal website, I don't have the money to buy a host or domain name >.<

FA is open to horse art definitely -- they're just ferals -- and given they don't balk at the human smut, they'll take the fantasy too.

hmm...i use furocity.com a fair bit, it's another furry website that's not so big yet. or if you sign up for google sites you can make a free website that's not all that flash but it works, and i dunno maybe if you use photobucket or something, you can put images onto the googlesite by clicking "insert image" and then it gives you the option of uploading or using a link from a website, so you could put in the photobucket link and the image comes up on the page. here's my website: [link]

as i said, nothing flash - but it works =)

I vote just use furaffinity for the fantasy and equines. They don't seem to care as long as a good quantity is anthro or animal.

Hmm. Do you have a friend with high-speed you could send things to? Then they could hop onto your account and upload for you? Otherwise, I'd say get a nice LJ so we can follow you and love you there :heart:

Also, kudos to you for navigating with dial-up. I have DSL and I still want it to be faster most of the time xD

I have no friends D: lol but seriously, where I live I don't know *anybody*. My family has adsl but they live like 3 hours away XD I was thinking of making an art blog, however it probably won't be through LJ as dialup doesn't seem to like that site either.

The only reason I have dialup is because it's the only thing available here, because we live out of town. Australia is a third-world country when it comes to internet speed. Just out of curiosity, how much does hi-speed internet cost there? It's ridiculously priced here, sometimes reaching over $80 a month. I pay $40 a month for dialup, and that's not including the dialling up fees! D:

Aw! That's so sad though! D: Is there a DA friend you could get to help? There's a little more trust involved, but that might work? I can see that, though. LJ has some bandwidth-sucking things.

Aaaand it's hard to say! My parents get a DSL/phone package, and here at school we get a TV/internet package. However, out TV/internet package is only $80, so we are getting more than you are certainly. And that's ridiculous that cable's still that inaccessible and expensive for you out there! D:
